This animation shows the trajectory of a cannon ball. You can use it to investigate the range at different barrel elevations and show that the range is greatest for an angle of elevation of 45o. To change the elevation of the cannon barrel click near the front end of the barrel.
Press the START button to start.
You must always reset the animation before adjusting the projection angle and firing another cannon ball.
